Crazy sky phenomena over Raytown April 13,2018

there are a few possible scenario's

first we go to the natural,

it could be as simple as the sun setting bellow the level of the cloud layer, and the light being refracted between ice crystals in the cloud layer, its possible but not likely, as its likely it wouldn't produce a beam, it would scatter a flash of defused light momentarily,

the un natural way,

its the product of light bouncing off a solid object, hidden from bellow by the clouds and using high energy magnetic fields bending the light around it, but because there is cloud beneath it, the light is momentarily being scattered back upwards, there is a way to tell what it is too, you trace the movements of the beam of light if it is a solid object the sun will be moving on it, and it could also be moving, but if you select a fixed point on the sky on the end of the beam and then plot it, where ever the beam goes, (same point on beam), it should in theory create a silhouette outline image of the surface its reflecting from, (dun dun deeeer), revealing if is natural or artificial in nature
