Several hundreds of protesters gathered in front of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz' residence on Monday to demand the arrest of four police officers involved in the killing of George Floyd. The protesters could be seen holding signs demanding the justice to George Floyd, some of which were holding scripts reading "No justice. No peace" and "I can't breathe." "Today, we had a rally, focused on the need to charge and arrest all four cops involved in the murder of George Floyd," said the civil rights lawyer Nekima Levy Armstrong, "One arrest is not sufficient; neither are the charges sufficient." Armstrong added that charging decision made by the Hennepin County attorney "was basically setting that cop up to have this case dismissed, which is not in the interest of justice." Protests and demonstrations have taken place across the world, having begun in the US in reaction to Floyd's death, reigniting a movement of outrage at repeated deaths of unarmed black men and women at the hands of police officers.
