Mass protests spark in the centre of Yerevan on Wednesday, November 11. 17 opposition parties have organized joint protests a day after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the signing of a statement with President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, on the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. The terms involve Armenia surrendering some territory it held in exchange for an end to the hostilities, while Baku gets to keep the territory it has taken in the most recent fighting. Russian peacekeepers are to guard a road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia.
