6 Biggest UNSOLVED OCEAN MYSTERIES

The Ocean - it makes up approximately 71% of the Earth’s surface, and 90% of the Earth’s biosphere. And with an estimated total volume of 320 million cubic miles, and average depth of 12,100 feet, it’s no surprise that its scale continues to baffle our attempts to navigate and classify its seemingly limitless complexity. This becomes especially apparent when oceanographers inform us that less than 5% of its total area has been explored, and that just 10%, of its estimated in excess of 2 million species, have been identified. Such an introduction would make even the most cocky of us mere humans feel like insignificant blips when we consider the extent to which the vast bulk of it has remained uncharted
