Many archaeologists have been stunned by the ancient artifacts uncovered in modern day Iraq, this new documentary seeks to explain them. This history is also pieced together from evidence written on the 6000 year old cunieform tablets, the oldest "recorded" written language. What is still shrouded in mystery is the advancement of Mesopotamia. It was home to some of the oldest and most fascinating ancient civilizations, including the Sumerians, Akkadians, Persians, Babylonians and Assyrians. The Grand Architects of Ancient Mesopotamia embedded their genius ‘know how’ into many cultural practices. There are secret societies that still today, embody this hidden knowledge into their temples and way of life, it is a practice that never went away. Ask the average person, how Engineering, Science and technology developed, they would tell you each developed over extended periods of time becoming more advanced as the centuries passed each in their own way.  This may be true for recent centuries, but the ‘dawn of civilization’ just doesn’t exist, that term is repeatedly used to refer to Sumerian and Egyptian cultures, however these cultures were fully fledged right at what we call their genesis, now that just wrong, the human species has flourished and floundered many times, and no civilization could suddenly learn astronomy, mathematics, metallurgy and engineering, as well as all the others, all at the same time as one can not be done out of linear order, one must first discover metal working, and then engineering, and mathematics, and then artisan skills, before one can make and understand a watch, to tell the time, you cannot tell the time without an accurate way to measure it, i rest my case!, ;) #peace
