Dozens of vehicles staged a 'Caravan for Life' protest, driving in line along Luis Munoz Rivera Avenue, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, demanding the government to speed up social and financial aid to the people in need, Thursday. People can be seen holding signs with messages such as "More food, more tests, less corruption," and "I am here for compassion, I am here for those who have nothing to eat, I am here asking for responsibility." Giovanni Roberto, a Caravan for Life spokesman and social activist from the organization Social Canteens, said that thousands of children were starving and demanded more responsibility from the government. "People eat every day. We cannot ask for patience from the people who are starving," he said. Among the demands reportedly were payment of unemployment benefits, the opening of soup kitchens, and performing more tests to detect the coronavirus.
