Anti-lockdown protesters rallied in Cologne on Monday, with some of them forming a human chain, to demonstrate against measures imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus. Protesters were seen forming a human chain on the banks of the Rhine, while observing social distancing measures. Another group of anti-lockdown demonstrators gathered on Roncalliplatz, but were met with counter-protesters carrying Antifa flags. Some confrontations took place between the opposing groups, under close police presence. Last Saturday, the police had to intervene as around 500 people gathered in Cologne to protest coronavirus measures.
