Protesters, including students and self-employed people, outraged by the worsening economic conditions amid the coronavirus pandemic, took to the streets of Tel Aviv, Thursday. Protesters were seen waving signs and chanting slogans, abiding by the recommended social distancing rules and wearing face masks. "We are here to say a very clear thing to the government: It is time to sit with the students and hear our claims. We haven't been going to school for two months. We are paying rent, and nobody is listening to us. It is time to sit with us and pay us the compensations that we deserve," said protester, Tomer Winer. According to reports, students still had to pay tuition and dormitory fees, despite not being able to attend classes and not staying at students' dorms.
