The Enigmatic Ancient Site of Tiahuanaco + Pumapunku | Ancient Architects

Ancient Architects
I have mentioned Tiahuanaco and Puma Punku is a number of videos over the years but I’ve never taken a deep dive into this historic settlement on the banks of Lake Titicaca. As many of you may know, Tiahuanaco is a Pre-Columbian site in western Bolivia, one of the largest archaeological sites in South America. In my recent series of videos I’ve talked about a megalithic culture, a people who moved across the world through time, building magnificent megalithic and monolithic structures. It seems that the final leg of their journey took them from Cusco in Peru to the Polynesian islands, including Easter Island, but as far as New Zealand. But before building at Cusco, it is believed that this megalithic culture were the ones who built Tiwanaku and that this is the ancestral home of Peruvian megalithic builders. So in this video, I am going to introduce this incredible megalithic site and take a look at the earliest written account by Spanish Chronicler, Pedro Cieza de Leon. Chuck on CF-Apps7865 presented the words of Cieza de Leon back in 2020 and you can watch his fantastic video at https://youtu.be/UftoRAbv7JY You can read the words of Pedro Cieza de Leon at https://www.gutenberg.org/files/48770...
