How ATLANT ™ works
Negative ions are generated by a high voltage generator through a crown discharge.
The ions attach to the particles (aerosols) in the atmosphere, which then act as clouds of condensation in the cloud (CCN).
Loaded aerosols are transported to the highest wind, atmospheric, and turbulent atmosphere.
The water vapour condenses on these charged aerosols to form droplets of charged precipitates (initially 1-2 micron in diameter).
Electrostatic forces on the interaction of droplets, (loaded and unloaded), promote the coalescence of droplets of the cloud and accelerate their growth to a minimum of 1 mm diameter necessary for the drops to change due to the severity of rainfall
