ABANDONED SATELLITE DISH STATION (WE CLIMBED UP IT)

you know its such a shame that they are doing nothing with these, a bit of funding and i mean not a lot in comparison to how much it cost to build these and then leave them abandoned, and i could convert the entire site into a giant solar collection and power generation system relatively easily, a squad of 10 could easily convert the big dish in a month and all that really entails is painting glue on the dish and sticking down huge sheets of Mylar or even just get one huge sheet fabricated and then attach it to the front of the dish (all seams must be air tight), and then start pumping the air out from underneath until it makes a parabolic shape, then all that is needed is a giant helium filled Stirling engine building and positioning in the centre of the site and that's it free energy as long as the sun is shining in the sky there will be power, also being very clever like i am, i figured if we built a few of these and place them at equidistant places around the equator then link them together, (through a means i have devised but am not going to divulge as my ideas are constantly being stolen), then no matter if its day or night energy will still be being produced into the system 24/7 and on the rare eclipse occasions all that we would have to do to retain power in that situation is build some giant capacitors attach to each individual site and then its got a battery backup for the minutes of solar darkness, also it could be used for planetary defence as you could refocus the beam on to incoming asteroids and comets and vaporise them with the focused rays of the sun, #Archimedesgotnothingonme and it has the added bonus of not being able to be used on ground targets just in case they try to turn it into a weapon system, by a simple misalignment of the mirrors in the linking system which would cut the power to said solar energy weapon and given that they would be situated in a few countries any country in disagreement with the use of such a beam could stop its firing at will, it would take all countries involved to unanimously agree upon the use thereof to fire at aerial/space targets i'm willing to do my bit entirely for free as long as there is a good supply of the munchies and tunes of course #yourwelcome :) #peace
