John Kanzius Redux: Burning Salt Water?

Experiments on electric discharges in salt water solutions.  The first two clips are of a test tube of salt water between RF antennae, much as Kanzius was doing in 2007.  The second two clips are videos of an experiment with a thin layer of salt water between two electrodes at about 6000 Volts.  The third pair of clips are an experiment using a drop of salt water between two electrodes in a capacitive discharge system at 2200 V and 450 micro-farads.  the first clip was filmed at 420 fps and the second at 1000 fps.  More recent experiments are on the micro-second time scale.  These data and the theory and models of the physics & chemistry are the subject of a scientific paper submitted to Chemical Physics.  The salt water is not burning and there is no H2 created to speak of.  The physics & chemistry varies somewhat between the four different types of experimental configuration but is fairly straight forward dense plasma reaction chemistry.  In the short pulse devices detonations are produced by the very rapid chemistry in the semi-condensed medium.
