SUBSCRIBED Protesters took to the streets of Raleigh, North Carolina, on Tuesday to protest against a lockdown imposed to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Footage shows protesters marching and holding signs urging to "Re-open NC," with people chanting: "We are essential." "I'm absolutely fed up with the fact that our government thinks they can suspend our rights in violation of the constitution," one protester said. "I need to go back to work. I have to pay rent, I have to take care of my kids," another one added. "I think we need to listen to our health care providers, people in the medical field, our governors should listen to them and our senators and congressmen should listen to them, and reopen when it's best and smart to reopen," another protester said.
