is live from the Italian border with France in Ventimiglia, on Wednesday, June 3 as Italy reopens its borders for all members of the Schengen area after the coronavirus lockdown. Visitors from Europe will be allowed to enter the country without mandatory self-isolation under pre-coronavirus regulations, except for those who test positive for COVID-19 or have been in contact with people infected. However, Italians will have to wait to travel to the neighbouring countries as they are not yet opening their borders. EU external travels are due to remain restricted at least until June 15.
