In this video I put flies in the vacuum chamber to see if they can fly in a low pressure environment. I also show you how I got the flies in the vacuum chamber by lowering their metabolism so that they don't move at all by putting them in the freezer. Then once in the closed chamber they warm up and come back to life. The less air there is in the vacuum chamber the higher wing speed they need to generate lift. Eventually you get to low enough pressure that the flies cannot lift off the ground! Then I talk about how we could lift off the ground if our atmosphere was as thick as Saturn's moon Titan
