Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of New York City for a rally against US President Donald Trump on Saturday. "We need to be out, 60 days of non-violent resistance, day after day, night after night to drive this fascist regime out. We won't be able to rely on the elections to do that," said one protester. The march was organised by the Refuse Fascism group as part of a nationwide call for demonstrations, with events also taking place in Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and other cities across the US. The group has called for 60 days of non-violent direct action to remove Trump from office.
