Residents of Minsk held a rally named "March of Neighbours" on Sunday to protest against the results of the presidential elections. They were filmed wearing the white-red-white flags of the opposition movement and chanting: "Long Live Belarus" Police were reported to have detained some of the activists during the event. Belarus has been swept by anti-government protests following the disputed presidential election that saw long-time leader Lukashenko re-elected for a sixth term in August.
