As in the measures announced for the rest of Germany, the lockdown will include the closing of all non-essential shops, as well as schools and kindergartens. The selling of alcohol for public consumption will also be prohibited and employers will be strongly encouraged to enable their employees to work from home-office, Minister-President Soder stressed. The curfew that has already been imposed for 200 localities, will now apply for the whole Bavaria.
