The second impeachment trial of former US President Donald Trump continues in Washington DC on Wednesday, February 10. The House managers are scheduled to begin their opening arguments, followed by the former president’s defence team. Each side will have 16 hours to make their presentations — a shorter period than the 24 hours during Trump's first trial. The decision means that each day of the process is likely to last eight hours. When the opening arguments are voiced, senators will be able to question the two sides for four hours by submitting written questions to Patrick Leahy, presiding over the trial. On January 26, the managers formally delivered the single article of impeachment with the charge of "incitement of insurrection" to the Senate.
