Poverty is a crime not by the people but by the government that is meant to protect then from unnecessary and cruel and unusual punishments and being forced to live like an animal not knowing where you next meal is coming from or if its safe to sleep or if you will be robbed or starved to death or being criminalised for non crimes falls under that category
